• Specific briefings to be held regarding SAFETY requirements, site conditions and specific tasks.
• TRAINING and credentials requirements, Supervisors, verification, safety and security clearances.

TRAINING FOR DISINFECTION WORKERS IN SAFE APPLICATION

• Arrange to provide personnel with training on basic C&D PROCEDURES, safety protocols, specific aspects of incident, safe handling of chemical compounds, assess potentially hazardous situations noted during pre-assessment phase.
• SPECIFY TASKS for which group member is responsible.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION EQUIPMENT

• SPECIFY MATERIALS, supplies and equipment necessary to perform recommended cleaning and disinfection plan.
• This could also include respirators, personal DECONTAMINATION OUTWEAR and footwear, gloves.

SUPPLIES FOR THE CLEANING AND DISINFECTION PROCEDURE

• NB: PROVISION to be made for difficult to obtain equipment or require special permits.
• NB: PROTOCOL for disinfecting common types of structures and equipment found in typical commercial operations.
• INFLUENCES of natural processes (time, sunlight, temperature and dehydration) in the decontamination process.

DISPOSAL

Coordinate with Disposal Group on the proper way to dispose of disinfectant solutions and other waste items resulting from the cleaning and disinfection process
